Stolen Tools Recovered – Three Arrested

Dec. 2, 2025: Last week Lowe’s Asset Protection reported that two males had just stolen 5-6 boxes of power tools and fled in a silver Toyota 4Runner. A license plate was provided, and with the help of Flock cameras, officers quickly located the vehicle near Garner Ave. and Atlantic St.

Officers conducted a stop and detained three males, ages 42, 35, and 30. A search of the vehicle revealed all of the stolen power tools, valued at just over $1,000, along with a small amount of methamphetamine and related paraphernalia.

All three suspects were transported to the Monterey County Jail on theft and drug related charges. The stolen merchandise was returned to Lowe’s.

This outlines the great teamwork by Asset Protection and our patrol officers. This teamwork provided a quick resolution and recovery of the property.
