Request Traffic Enforcement

The Salinas Police Department Patrol/Traffic Enforcement is charged with ensuring that all streets in our city are as safe as possible for our community members and visitors.

Many vehicle collisions are the result of excessive speed and/or driving while impaired by alcohol/drugs. We are dedicated to reducing injuries and fatalities caused by vehicle collisions, and we encourage you to call 911 immediately if you witness an impaired driver or someone driving at a high rate of speed or in an unsafe manner.
