Salinas, CA – On September 21, 2024, at approximately 4:30 AM, officers responded to the Pilot gas station located at the corner of Work St and S. Sanborn Rd. for a report of a shooting that had just taken place.

When officers arrived on scene, they spoke to the victims. However, they could not provide a suspect or suspect vehicle description. Officers located spent shell casings and two vehicles that had been struck by gunfire.

This is an ongoing investigation and Salinas PD asks anyone with information regarding this incident to call (831) 758-7321 to report it. If you wish to remain anonymous, please call the Salinas Police Department Tip Line at (831) 775-4222.
