Salinas Police Recover $10,000 in Stolen Items, Arrest Three

In the early morning hours of December 10, 2025, Salinas police officers responded to the Best Western on Kern St. for multiple vehicle burglaries in progress. As officers arrived in the area and were about to contact the suspects, but they got into a Honda sedan and left the parking lot pulling immediately onto northbound Highway 101.

A traffic stop was initiated, and the suspects took off, leading officers on a short pursuit. However, officers were able to conduct a successful PIT maneuver, bringing the chase to an end just before the Boronda Road exit.


Officers arrested three suspects without any further resistance. Approximately $10,000 worth of stolen power tools were recovered and returned to the owners. All suspects were lodged at the Monterey County Jail.
